Day 5 – Mullen Work Day, Chimney Rock Lunch & Shopping, Team Bonding

Hi! We had a late night looking over pictures from our photo and video challenge on Sunday in Chimney Rock, and we have an early morning wake up call to get to our rafting trip on time, so I’m gonna keep this quick! 

We worked at Mullen today, finishing up projects from Monday, and doing some other tidying up around camp. Around 11am we stopped work to hear from the president of Mullen Bible Camp, Miss Sheila. She shared the history of the camp, and shared how our group along with others throughout this summer, have done so much to help her and Mullen. We went back to work, then had a late lunch in Chimney Rock at Chimney Rock Smokehouse – it was delicious, and they have an inspiring story of the community helping them rebuild after the flooding. We did some souvenir shopping then went back to camp to finish up our projects.

We spent the evening hanging out, playing games, chatting, and simply enjoying each other’s company. All were laughing and smiling this evening. We’re grateful for one another.
