You are invited to spend Saturday, August 1, exploring the natural beauty of Gardner Cave and the Pend Oreille River. The adventure begins with a guided walking tour through a 1,055 foot limestone cavern filled with stalactites, stalagmites, rimstone pools, and flowstone.
After the cave tour, you will enjoy your own packed lunch before heading onto the river in tandem sit on top kayaks. The calm water route features waterfalls, deep canyons, and beautiful scenery.
The trip runs from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. The $119 registration fee includes guides, kayaking equipment, cave admission, and transportation. Bring a lunch and plenty of water.
