Love-Thy-Neighbor Ministry - St. Luke Lutheran Church

Formally “social ministry,” this is a group of individuals who are committed to community outreach and especially as it pertains to service beyond the walls of our church. Love-Thy-Neighbor is our opportunity to extend our resources and hospitality to people in need in the community and within our congregation.

This group helps direct love-your-neighbor donations and supports local organizations St. Luke sponsors or donates supplies to. If you’re looking for how St. Luke supports local food drives, families and schools in our vicinity, or other local organization benefitting kids, families, and individuals in need of essentials, Love-Thy-Neighbor is the umbrella under which much of that happens… with one notable exception: Our congregation has a unique and notable partnership with Family Promise you should also explore!
