Older, Wiser Lutherans (OWLS) Are Back! - St. Luke Lutheran Church

You are invited to the first OWLs gathering of the fall on Thursday, September 11th at 12:30 pm. OWLs stands for Older, Wiser Lutherans, and it is a community for all who are of retirement age to share in fellowship, laughter, and joy together.

Each OWLs event combines good food with warm community, and always includes fellowship and entertainment. Volunteers pour their hearts into making these gatherings possible. Nikki serves as coordinator, managing the decorations, food, and event planning, ensuring each gathering feels welcoming and thoughtfully prepared. Behind the scenes, many extraordinary volunteers also lend their time and talents so that all may experience a meaningful and joy-filled afternoon.

This month’s meal will feature salmon, rice pilaf, and green beans.
A vegan option and an additional protein for those who prefer something other than fish. Everything will be provided so you may simply come, relax, and enjoy.
