Whitworth Jazz in Worship This Sunday
With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King.
The Whitworth Jazz Ensemble joins us for worship at the first two services (8:30am and 10:00am) this Sunday, November 16th!
Directed by Dr. Jared Hall, who grew up at St. Luke and has recently contributed to worship at St. Luke on the trumpet for Reformation, All Saints, Easter, and Christmas; this group brings an exciting and faith-filled energy to the morning.
The service will include special jazz-inspired arrangements of our liturgy, arranged by Dr. Hall himself, along with outstanding musical offerings from the ensemble.
Unsure if you can make the early services? The 11:15 am modern service will meet in the gym. However, all are encouraged to come early, support these talented Whitworth students, and experience this joyful blend of worship and jazz.
