11:15 Modern Worship Through the Summer

In years past, the 11:15a modern worship service was ‘on hiatus’ throughout the summer. Not so this year! All summer long, we will have three worship services: the usual 8:30 & 10:00, and the 11:15 modern worship service!

In February, at the annual congregational meeting and banquet, the congregation generously voted to support the 11:15a service throughout the summer of 2026. Whether this extends to future summers may be influenced by the sustained interest in the 3rd service through the summer, if there is parking capacity to accommodate everyone at two services, or a combination of related factors. In any case, we are excited for the opportunity granted to us to offer this worship service for each Sunday of 2026! Thank you for your support!

Our modern worship service features contemporary Christian music, drums, synthesizer, bass guitar, several vocalists, and a more relaxed liturgy. The modern worship team is often highlighted on festival services, such as Easter and Christmas, and has brought some memorable music to St. Luke’s most touching worship experiences. If you haven’t been to the 11:15 service, you’re invited to check it out!
