You are invited to share joy, laughter, and Christmas cheer with children and families at the Family Promise shelter through a simple and meaningful act of service. On Sunday, December 21, from 4:00-5:00 pm, we’ll be decorating Christmas Cookies with kids at the shelter!
This opportunity flows directly from St. Luke’s partnership with Family Promise and our Love Thy Neighbor ministry. Through simple acts like decorating cookies, you are invited to live out the grace we receive in Christ by walking alongside our neighbors with compassion and care.
St. Luke high school youth will help shelter guests decorate Christmas cookies and enjoy a festive afternoon together. We will meet at the church at 3:30 pm and carpool to the Family Promise shelter as a group. Everything needed for the activity will be provided. This time together is about presence, joy, and showing Christ’s love in tangible ways.
A sign up sheet will be available on Wednesday. After you sign up, Miss Stefanie will email you a required volunteer registration form that must be completed before the event. This ensures a safe and supportive environment for everyone involved.
