Kids Min May Want Your Gift-Wrapping Leftovers!

Here’s a true win-win! Take part in a simple and meaningful way to support this year’s Vacation Bible School creativity. During the holiday season, many of us find our homes filling with empty wrapping paper tubes and that familiar brown packing paper from Amazon boxes. Instead of tossing these items into the recycling bin, you may bring them to church and place them in the collection bin by the info tower.

This small gesture creates a win-win for the whole community. You reduce waste during a season when so much extra material piles up, and your donated items will help bring our VBS decorations to life.

Lori Wilson, St. Luke’s Kids Ministry Coordinator, has a gift for transforming ordinary materials into faith-filled scenes that help children explore God’s love with wonder and joy.

Everything you donate will become part of the bright, imaginative spaces our kids walk through this summer. These decorations help set the scene for Bible stories, spark curiosity, and create memories that last long after VBS week is over.

You are invited to take part in this creative stewardship opportunity. Bring your empty wrapping paper tubes and brown packing paper any time you stop by the church. Your simple holiday leftovers will help create a welcoming space where children may grow in faith, friendship, and joy.
