Love Thy Neighbor Ministry Seeks Food for Mead Food Bank
You are invited to help care for neighbors in need through the Love Thy Neighbor Ministry. On the third Sunday of every month, volunteers distribute grocery bags with a list of the most needed items for the Mead Food Bank. You may return donated food items to the gray bin located in the Fellowship Hall on any Sunday.
Current most needed items include:
- canned meats
- canned fruits and vegetables
- rice
- pasta
- macaroni and cheese
- toothpaste
These simple gifts help make a meaningful difference. The Mead Food Bank serves approximately 90 to 115 families each week, offering vital support to households in our wider community.
If you are looking for additional ways to serve, opportunities are available for weekly food donation delivery, grocery store pickup, and on site volunteering. Everything will be provided so you may focus on serving with compassion and generosity, rooted in Christ’s love for all.
