RENEW Returns Tonight

RENEW, our monthly youth-focused (but open to all!) midweek modern worship experience, is back for the first time after the New Year! This service took a brief hiatus to make room for the Advent Midweek worship in December. The hiatus is over, and you’re invited!

Worship is at 6:30pm tonight, Wednesday, January 14th, 2026!

Each month for the rest of this school year, RENEW explores a new theme under the umbrella “It’s giving…” – a phrase that means something fully embodies or exudes a certain vibe. The kids get it!! This month’s theme is, “it’s giving… OPPS,” which is short for Opposition. “Opps” (or “opp”) is slang for opponents, enemies, or opposition; used broadly on social media to describe rivals or antagonists. Again, the kids are following along just fine! But let’s put it all together: Something that is “giving” “opps” is something that seems like it is against you. Intentionally.

Pr. Taran will explore how our faith can turn this reality on its head. Come, hear how seemingly everything about our faith (the cross, loving enemies, turning the other cheek, using up ‘valuable’ time to serve neighbors) is in opposition to the world. Want a primer? This once-a-month service features modern music, communion, and a relevant gospel message. It’s especially geared toward youth and teens, but everyone is welcome: families, friends, and all who desire mid-week worship.
