School Supply Drive
Education is one of the strongest tools a community has for breaking the cycle of poverty. Lutheran World Relief is seeking highly specific items to put together school kits. Your donations contribute to learning that leads to a better life for school children.
You do not need to create the kits yourself or purchase all the items, but the items needed are very specific. The full list is:
- 70-sheet spiral notebooks (college or wide-ruled)
- No. 2 pencils, unsharpened
- Ballpoint pens (blue or black ink)
- Please, no gel or click pens.
- Pink eraser (2.5″)
- 24 box of crayons
- Blunt-tipped scissors
- Handheld pencil sharpener
- 30-centimeter ruler
Thank you for your support! This school supply drive is being spearheaded by our Love Thy Neighbor ministry, in partnership with Lutheran World Relief. Of course, we’re all Lutheran here, but truly LWR is one of the finest on-the-ground organizations improving lives around the globe. That’s their reputation, and we are proud to be working with them.
