You are invited to gather on Wednesday evenings, beginning this evening, for soup supper and worship, offered each week until Holy Week. (the week leading up to Easter)
We will start at 6:00pm with a simple meal of soup and bread. Come as you are.
Following supper, we will move into the sanctuary at 7:00pm for about a half hour of worship using Holden Evening Prayer. This beloved service is filled with beautiful, meditative music and simple liturgy that carries us gently into reflection and prayer. In the rhythm of sung prayer, you are given space to breathe, to listen, and to rest in God’s promises.
During worship, our Lenten homily series will reflect on several of the Stations of the Cross. Week by week, we will walk with Jesus toward Calvary. We will pause at moments of betrayal, denial, suffering, and sorrow. And in each station, you will hear again the heart of our faith: Christ crucified for you.
Youth and children are encouraged to attend worship. The music is accessible, the service is reflective, and the story of the cross belongs to every generation.
Make midweek worship part of your Lenten rhythm. Come for soup. Stay for prayer. Leave grounded in the promise that even in suffering, Christ’s mercy holds you fast.
We look forward to gathering with you.
