Thanksgiving Meals for 40 Families

A busy Tuesday is brewing! St. Luke is rallying together to support 40 families in our community with a complete Thanksgiving meal. This ministry is only possible because so many of you shop, donate, sort, pack, coordinate, and deliver. It is a beautiful picture of what happens when a whole congregation comes together in love.

You are invited to join in. The donation list is posted on the Information Tower in the Fellowship Hall. Many people share each item so that every basket is full. Throughout November, many have signed up to bring food or deliver! Thank you!

Delivery is happening on Tuesday, November 25 at 5:00 pm. Drivers receive a basket, a delivery location, and deliver a full holiday meal directly to a household in need.

This is a Love Thy Neighbor ministry. These same 40 families will later receive Christmas baskets and the gifts from our Tree of Sharing, creating an ongoing expression of care throughout the seasons.

Each basket includes a full holiday meal. A turkey with gravy mix, stove top stuffing, green beans, butter, olives, cranberry sauce, peaches, Jello, pie, Cool Whip, and applesauce.

Your help makes the difference. This is one of the most meaningful ways we come together so our neighbors may feel supported and seen during the holidays.
