This Sunday: Mead Food Bank

While food donations are ongoing each week at St. Luke, keep an eye out this Sunday for grocery bags being handed out to collect items for the Mead Food Bank.

You are invited to help care for neighbors in need through the Love Thy Neighbor Ministry. On the third Sunday of every month, volunteers distribute grocery bags with a list of the most needed items for the Mead Food Bank. You may return donated food items to the gray bin located in the Fellowship Hall on any Sunday.

Current most needed items include:

  • Nuts
  • Flower & Sugar
  • Toilet Paper
  • Bar Soap
  • Canned Fruits & Veggies
  • Cereal
  • Canned Proteins

The Mead Food Bank serves approximately 90 to 115 families each week, offering vital support to households in our wider community.

If you are looking for additional ways to serve, opportunities are available for weekly food donation delivery, grocery store pickup, and on site volunteering.

Your participation reflects loving your neighbor as yourself and sharing grace in tangible ways.
