This Sunday: Whitworth Symphony Orchestra in Worship

Ready for a spectacular and memorable worship experience? This Sunday, March 3rd, at the 8:30 and 10:00 am services, Dr. Philip Baldwin leads the Whitworth Symphony Orchestra in worship at St. Luke.

The students at Whitworth have been working hard preparing their music. They’ll share several selections from their spring concert, The Lonely Satellite, as well as accompany the hymns for worship.

The sanctuary fills with music! The special music selections come from Whitworth’s Concerto Competition winners and feature student soloists or student composers who have demonstrated excellence in their craft.

Want to see the whole concert? The program will be held at St. Luke on Saturday, March 7th, at 3pm.

We hope you’ll come support these outstanding students, and their director, and thank them for sharing, generously, the gift of their collective talents.

A note about the 11:15 service – Our modern service will be held in the MPR (Multi-Purpose Room) and feature a more “unplugged” set, with Charles on the baby grand piano and Peter on the box drum. All are encouraged to attend the earlier services and support the Whitworth Wind Symphony, but we’ve got you covered if you prefer the 11:15 time.
