Our Nile River time has come to a close. Today we visited the Philae Temple in Aswan (the furthest south in Egypt we are visiting. The Philae temple was submerged after they built the old damn in 1902 but unearthed and relocated to an island (block by block) in 1982. Quite impressive. We then visited a spice shop and a perfume/essential oils shop. We returned to our boat for lunch and then went by shuttle boats through some beautiful water ways to the Nubian Village to shop at their market and visit a home with crocodiles in it. What a great day! And what a great experience going up the Nile.
