Day 3 - Olympia to Delphi

We started our day being the first group to walk through the ruins and archaeological site of the ancient Olympia - the sight of the first Olympic Games, and remains of the great temple to Zeus. After the tour of Olympia, and its museum, We traveled by bus north to the village of Delphi. We are staying at a beautiful hotel with a great swimming pool, and views of the valley with olive grows and Adriatic (aka Ionian) bay below. A lot of time on the bus, but it’s what one has to do if you’re going to see the country, and the country is worth seeing.
