Day 5 Delphi to Kalabaka

We started our morning out driving up the mountain to Delphi to visit the ruins and museum of the ancient Oracle. From there we continued over those mountains making our way north to our hotel looking at the incredible rock formations where the Meteora monasteries are perched atop those rock pillars. After dropping our belongings at the hotel, some of us then visited a local winery for a wine-tasting. Our dinner that night was not a buffet (typical of our stays), but a served, fancy, and delicious dinner with the sunsetting against those huge rock formations. The bus rides are long, but it‘S the only way to see this beautiful country, and worth it.
