Day 6 - Meteora

Today we visited the awe-inspiring, otherworldly, scenic & serene monasteries of Meteora. These monasteries are perched atop rock pillars suspended in the air, overlooking gorgeous rock formations and a great valley below. Some have been in existence since the 13th century. Truly a highlight of the trip thus far. It was also Sunday, so hearing church bells ring was a bonus. AND, it was Nora’s 17th birthday! To celebrate with her as her new best friends was very fun. Thinking of you all back home on this day of the Lord as we join together in our praise & prayers with you & the saints here and everywhere. Peace -
