Today was great! Relaxing, beautiful, happy people and good food and wine. We started by visiting one of the oldest wineries in the Chianti region of Tuscany with a tour of the winery followed by a wine tasting. Then we proceeded to a small village called, Greve, where we had a little time to do some shopping in their town square before we visited another winery where we had lunch (and a choice of beverage(s). We then returned to the Tuscan Villa we’re staying at which is beautiful, serene, picturesque, peaceful, and indescribable where many of us cooled off in the pool before dinner. The only drawback of today was the windy roads for those who get carsick. I’m guessing even they would say it was worth it (but I haven’t asked them). Tuscany has been a big hit with the group. More laid back and its beauty is unsurpassable.
